Gettysberg

Today, i took a day trip to  the historical city of Gettysberg, Pennsylvania to see the civil war battlefield. It was pretty fun.
THE MUSEUM
First i took a tour thrugh the museum. That was cool for anyone who likes history. There were displays with weapons used in the civil war, and from a few decades before. They had full union and confederate uniforms. There was a Lincoln biography, there were letters written by the soldiers as well as pictures taken of the war. It was great. The next section we went to had a 10 foot tall geographical map of the battlefield as well as a smaller map of the same place with landmarks on it. It was fun.

museum rating 6.5/10

THE GIFT SHOP
It was pretty cool at first. a lot of interesting stuff in there. I was enjoying it untill i started to look at price tags. It was expensive beyond belief. Out of the whole huge room, i only found a few things that cost less than 10 bucks. The price for more than half of the stuff there was 20 dollars, and they weren't even worth 10 in my opinion.

gift shop rating 2/10

THE BATTLEFIELD
The actual battlefield was pretty cool i think. We didn't get a tour guide, we just drove around and looked at the monumens on our own. It was great. They had monuments for every division that faught in the battle. On those, they had the names of every single person that took part in the battle from both sides, their ranks, and what firing line they were in. I took pictures from the top of the Pennsylvania monument, it was a pretty good view from there, but there was a much better view from the steel lookout tower. You could see literally the whole battlefield from there. I got some awesome pics.

battlefield rating 8.7/10

overall rating (average rating of all parts of the trip) 6.1/10

my personam rating of the whole trip 7.5/10

Also, it was a 2 hour drive both ways, which brings me to my next catagory:

MUSIC
here's some songs i heard today that caught my attention.

Aerosmith Dream On
a great song. i liked it a lot. 8/10

Aerosmith Kings and Queens (i had an Aerosmith CD along)
It was oretty good. not sure which was better, this or Dream On. 8/10

That's about it. I wasn't really paying attention to any of the stuff on the radio. There were a lot of commercials anyway.
